Cinnamon coffee cake

And I stayed up last night till 10:30 cooking this cinnamon coffee cake - a neighbor's recipe. Only thing is, she left out the step where I should add vanilla. Yes, I brought vanilla, and I've made a cake before so I should've realized I left it out, but I was following the directions to a T. Thus, no vanilla. So it looks really pretty, but there's not a whole lot of flavor to it. Apparently I can screw up any number of things!
