Meaningful Birthday Beauty

That was how this was gonna start, but after dinner at Mirko with my 2 boys (poor Deanie's on call tonight), I'm in a different mood. When your 16 year old says, "On the way to Mirko, let's play Madness [by Muse] really loud and have a sing-along," it puts you in a great mood. And when there's 2 guys there playing Dave Matthews and Babylon by David Gray, PLUS a bottle of wine for the price of a glass, it puts you in a really happy birthday mood (because you've got a designated driver and you get a free birthday Tiramisu). Oh, let's get the facial comparisons over with. This is me 2 years ago when I started using Meaningful Beauty, that moisturizer Cindy Crawford pushes that's frozen her face in time.


And here's me today. Jeez, my face is HUGE! No idea why, and Drew the coding genius couldn't fix it.


Here's the extreme closeup 2 years ago - lots of nasty red bumps.


Again with the EXTREME close-up, but no more red bumps. Wrinkles look the same to me and my mom - my face has been effectively frozen in time. Too bad my eyes look hardened and cynical.


My nurses forgot it was my birthday, and they felt guilty because they always decorate my partner's desk up real nice, so one ran to Winn Dixie and bought me a cake and plant. Very sweet of her to do that.



But the REALLY sweet thing was that my dentist gave me a birthday coffee cup that he painted - WHAT?! That one made my day...that and the tons of beautiful yarn my mother gave me - don't have a pic yet, but I will.


And lastly but bestly, go to the Orange Beach osprey cam and enjoy some birds in your FACE! They are so awesome to watch. We watched them eat a fish. I think there's one parent and 2 kids in the nest. Fascinating...but they drive Jake nuts.
