Next pair will definitely be bigger.Dr. Fun (AKA Sister)https://www.blogger.com/profile/07332652703590699186noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2386321676311629286.post-78388013440620044232016-02-19T07:32:13.757-06:002016-02-19T07:32:13.757-06:00Those are cute. I'm nervous about these because there's an inner leg, outer front leg, and outer back leg, but I think I can work it out....Dr. Fun (AKA Sister)https://www.blogger.com/profile/07332652703590699186noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2386321676311629286.post-40955752024788869212016-02-14T23:09:53.128-06:002016-02-14T23:09:53.128-06:00What a cool idea to make running shorts. I do the "slash and spread method" like shown here: http://www.craftsy.com/blog/2015/02/easy-guide-pattern-grading/
I do that on the front pattern piece and then again on the back pattern piece. Don't forget that whatever you add will be added to the diameter of the whole short by factor of four, since you'll be adding it to both front pieces and both back pieces. Adding just a quarter-inch to each piece adds a full inch the short. Don't forget to add the same amount for the legband and the waistband.
BeckyWhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14978486228919306813noreply@blogger.com
